A technician working with Access Control, CCTV & Alarm Systems is responsible for installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting these security systems. They perform wiring, troubleshooting, and installation work, ensuring systems function correctly and provide adequate security. They may also need to operate and maintain security system panels and ensure proper devices functionality.
Key Responsibilities:
- Installation: Install and configure Access Control Systems, CCTV cameras, and Alarm Systems according to company standards and customer specifications.
- Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance and repairs on all systems.
- Troubleshooting: Diagnose and troubleshoot hardware and software issues within the systems.
- Wiring: Handle wiring and cabling for all security systems.
- Technical Support: Provide technical support and assistance to clients regarding the systems.
- Documentation: Document all maintenance, repair, and installation activities.
- Safety: Always follow safety procedures and protocols.
- Stay Updated: Keep abreast of industry advancements and new technologies in security systems.
- Panel/Controller Operation: Operate panels/controller, understanding devices activation/deactivation and emergency protocols.
