Role brief


The SPE role supports with managing employee queries and data administration in Japanese language for activities such as talent acquisition, employee data change transactions, compensation and benefit, people operations and administration, L&D for client employees. Develops a strong understanding of the client organisation and responds appropriately to employee queries originating through multiple channels and updates employee records on workday

Core Responsibilities
  • Manage HR employee queries and employee data change transactions through a ticketing system into workday HCM
  • Manage recruitment and post recruitment employee activities
  • Meet SLA’s around Timeliness and Quality
  • Has good communication skills to be able to respond to employees queries through tickets, chats
  • Create and SOP and detailed FAQ’s around the AS-IS and To-BE benefits process
  • Follow compliance and quality guidelines to ensure correct information is provided for all queries.
  • Transfer to relevant leads, onshore counterparts for all Tier 2 transactions as per the defined process
  • Escalate high priority cases for immediate intervention

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
  • Workday HRM experience
  • Experience and sound understanding of the Talent Acquisition, HR processes with minimum 1-2 years of experience in managing employee queries and transactions.
  • Passion for delivering great employee experience.
  • Fluent in English and Japanese.
  • Experience working with HR systems (Workday, SF) and workflow systems (SNOW, Zendesk etc) would be added advantage.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, ability to manage conflict and attention to detail
  • Need to be passionate about employee experience, be energetic and drive and efficiently manage resolution of every employee query and transaction
  • Education and work experience requirements

Workday HRM modules
  • Graduate or Masters in Human Resources or equivalent
  • With overall 3+ years of work experience for SPE roles.
