Software Architect (Java)
Salary: RM10K - RM15K
Job Responsibilities:
Provide leadership to team members on industry practices, technologies, and leading open source software to build industry-leading applications that are highly available and reliable.
Architect, design, test and deliver system software to satisfy product requirements.
End-to-end architecture of a delivery, including its assembly and integration into the IT architecture principles defined with the client.
Lead technical discussions and provide innovation to the product.
20 % time on coaching, prototyping; 80% time on developing functional and technical features.
Job Requirements:
BS in Computer Science (or related field) with 6+ years of experience in software design, and application development
5+ years of experience developing applications based on Microservice architecture and API development
Sound knowledge in PaaS architecture and implementation using frameworks like Spring Boot, Spring Cloud, and Spring Dataflow etc.
Solid experience with designing a Microservice based architecture, container deployments and management tools like OpenStack, Kubernetes, Docker, etc.
Experience with Micro services development and design patterns
Experience with domain driven design, or 12 factor app
Experience with leading in Agile teams
Ability to engage with the product development team to design, develop and document the solution
Experience as architect on multiple large-scale product or enterprise initiatives
Strong knowledge of architecture frameworks and design patterns
Experience with using development tools, including JIRA, Confluence and GitLab
