Job Purpose
- Maintaining strong relationship with existing clients/agents as well as developing new pipeline of business within the APAC region.
- To help develop and execute strategic country business plan consistent with the budget and medium-term business plan delivering a pipeline of profitable business in the short, medium, and long term.
- The Senior Sales and Tendering Engineer of LAP is responsible for the management of all sales activities of Lucy Electric in the country and building relationships with clients including Utilities, local key partners, and other stakeholders.

Job Dimensions
- Reports to: Sales Director
- Direct Reports: Internal Sales Support (admin)
- Collaborates with: Marketing in APAC, Engineering, Finance, Sales LEA and Sales LET,
Key Accountabilities
These will include:
- Executes the most profitable strategy per country for this activity in the area
- Owns and directs long-term customer relationship/partnerships and fully responsible for customer satisfaction through executing the sales process
- Seeks out, qualifies and closes large & more complex new sales opportunities, with a specific focus on new business growth
- Be responsible for all market survey and visit customers regularly
- Helps establish the yearly budget
- Monitors proactively competition and set up price comparisons of core products
- Creates competitive, high quality and timely estimates, bids, proposals, and cost/benefits analysis
- Validates and coordinates pricelist for the area
- Liaises with the Marketing communication department regarding communication and sales promotions
- Maintain strong relationship with existing clients
Secondary activities / tasks
- To undertake any other duties and responsibilities as required / instructed to establish and manage the sales team.
- To undertake business travel abroad or within Malaysia as and when required.
Qualifications, Experience & Skills
- Electrical Engineer, minimum 3 years experiences in Power distribution
- Strong verbal and written communication skills in English and Malay language
- Excellent communication skills for follow ups with clients
- MS Office, Excel, Word, and Power point
- Must be able to cope and be flexible under daily pressure and multi-task
- Passion for customer service
