Job Description:
As a product development engineer in the Data Center Solutions group (DCS), you will work on developing our next generation Data Center Storage products, including enterprise class NVMe SSD controllers and other PCIe-based products. This will involve taking a design from initial concept to production form. You will provide technical leadership to a team of engineers working on the project.
Job Responsibilities:
Providing technical leadership to the SOC integration team
Working with system and chip architects to define block/subsystem feature sets, define and document micro architecture and implementation details into engineering documents
Providing guidance to the team performing development activities such as RTL coding, IP integration, Synthesis, Formal Verification, Static Timing Analysis, DFT, low power design, and driving interactions with the verification and implementation teams
Supporting FPGA/palladium emulation, and ASIC LAB validation
Requirements/Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree with 7+ years related experience
Proficient in Verilog/System Verilog
Vast experiences in SOC design and implementation
Excellent analytical and debugging skills and the ability to proactively solve issues
Excellent teamwork and time management skills and the ability to work under pressure
Proven ability to learn and adapt to new methodologies and technologies
Excellent scripting and programming skills with languages such as TCL, C, and Perl
Working knowledge of ASIC design processes (design, verification, implementation, layout) and flows
Working knowledge with Design and Verification tools such as VCS, Cadence IES, waveform viewers, and other similar tools
Working experiences with ARM processor and interconnect IPs will be an asset
Protocol knowledge and experience in PCI-Express, DDR, NAND flash, and/or other storage technologies will be an asset
Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
