Salary: RM3,700
Location: Kuala Lumpur
Responsibilities
- Perform NDT works on static or rotating equipment components according to approved procedures under supervision of a senior NDT Engineer.
- Perform any other tasks that may be allocated by NDT supervisor or engineers as required.
- Maintenance and cleaning of NDT tools and equipment.
- Waste management which includes proper handling of hazardous NDT waste in accordance with environmental regulations and dispose to assigned areas at work site.
- Maintain the validity of NDT certificates and carry out re-certification as required at relevant training and authorized training facilities. Carry out assigned task within the given schedule and time frame according to required standards and quality, and document completed tasks or findings in written format.
- Adhering to all work-site health, safety & environmental (HSE) rules and regulations, attend related safety training and successfully attaining the required qualifications (e.g. Site Safety Induction, Confined Space, Work at Height).
- Relevant Level 2 NDT (PT, MPI, Eddy Current & UT) qualification of BS, ASNT or equivalent.
- Experience working in Oil & Gas, Power Utility or relevant industry is an added advantage.
- Able to converse and write in Basic English.
- Able to interpret technical instructions and engineering drawings related to NDT works.
- Good communication, time management, and teamwork skills.
- Able to travel up to 90% of the time and willing to work on rotating shifts and overtime when required.
