Main duties and responsibilities
- Definition of IH process route and corresponding standard operating procedure (Lean Standard way of work and compliance to GKN standard)
- Head of IH process group, IE and manufacturing engineers in PEN. Manage IH and ME activities.
- Support or lead maintenance team in trouble-shooting and problem solving of machine breakdown.
- Involve in machine modification, installation and improvement programs.
- Support or lead problem solving in process related problems
- Support in PLC and CNC programming
- Lead ME and IH processes during product launch activities.
- Definition of tools and tooling requirements
- Provide machine capabilities, capacity, floor to floor times, and tool life studies.
- Implement corrective actions base upon required improvements.
- Comply with quality management system requirement
- Manage PFMEA , SOP and Control plan activities.
- Update manufacturing process standard time to MFG PRO
- Develop ME to back up assy process and IE activities.
- Knowledge of material engineering is a must and lead induction harden process related activities
- Any other tasks assigned by ME Manager
