Lead Contract Manager

Location: Subang Jaya
Salary range: MYR 6,500 – MYR 8,750


JOB DESCRIPTIONS

  1. Create and execute contract management strategies to ensure efficient contract administration.
  2. Review, negotiate and finalize contracts to protect company interest and minimize risks
  3. Work with teams like legal, sales, operations, procurement and finance to ensure smooth contract execution
  4. Tract contract performance and ensure all parties adhere to agreed terms and conditions
  5. Address potential contract issues and resolve disputes promptly with relevant stakeholders.
  6. Conduct regular reviews and renewals to maintain favorable terms.
  7. Maintain accurate and accessible record of contracts and related documents.
  8. Provide training on best practices for contract management to internal teams and stakeholders
  9. Keep informed on industry trends, legal changes and regulations that affect contracts.
  10. Contribute to the creation of policies and procedures for contract management and risk mitigation
  11. Lead the application process if an extension of time is required from the client
  12. Assist procurement in reviewing contract terms for fairness and clarity
  13. Prepare and submit variation order claims to clients with proper documentations
  14. Oversea the insurance claims process, ensuring all necessary documentations is provided.
  15. Assist the tendering team to ensure through and efficient bidding processes.
  16. Undertake all duties, tasks and responsibility as required by the management.

 

JOB REQUIREMENTS.

  1. Bachelor degree in business, law or any related field
  2. 5-7 years in contract management with experience leading contract teams.
  3. Strong understanding of contract law, negotiation and risk management principles.
  4. Excellent communication, interpersonal and problem solving skills.
  5. Skilled in Microsoft office suite
  6. Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities with attention to detail
  7. Self-motivated, results driven and committed to continuous learning and improvement.
  8. Strong analytical and problem solving skills with the ability to proactively identify and resolve potential issues.
