HSSE Supervisor
Location: Subang Jaya
Salary: RM4100
Role:
This position is responsible to oversee, engage and implement all aspects of HSE Management,
compliance, trainings and Incident investigations. Candidate is also required to perform auditing of
existing and new premises to managing day-to-day HSE related tasks.
Core responsibilities
Implements and supports project HSE plans, regulatory requirements, and other safe work practices.
Identifies, evaluates, develops and delivers Logistics and Fulfilment Operations specific HSE training.
Recognizes, evaluates, and advises on hazard identification.
Leads and conducts project HSE inspections and monitors the quality and effectiveness of inspections and safety plans.
Utilise IT tools to help drive safety compliance to all stakeholders within the organisation
Develops and evaluates efficiency of the business emergency response plan, site-specific safety requirements and the environmental plan.
Monitors and audits trade contractor HSE performance.
Participates in on-site investigative processes and evaluating corrective actions taken.
Conduct Safety briefings during campaigns, onboarding and inductions
Develops and maintains positive relationships with all stakeholders.
Coaches, trains and mentors all employees
Reporting Line:
Reports directly to HSE Manager
Qualifications:
DOSH Yellow book / Diploma in OSH Qualified preferred
Experience in Logistics and Warehousing added advantage
Skills:
Possess strong analytical skills and the ability to handle difficult situations
Good communication, writing skills and motivational skills, coupled with good planning and
administration abilities
Required skill(s): MS Excel, MS Office, MS PowerPoint:
Able to work with large crowds and speak publicly
Comfortable being in the role of a sole contributor, but able to work closely and collaborate
with a variety of internal and external stakeholders.
Good interpersonal skills, and able to work independently as well as collaborate with a diverse spectrum of people, both internally and externally.
Good understanding and command of English, Bahasa Malaysia, and knowledge of OSH legal and professional context will be an added advantage.
Possess own transport and able to compose and comply with a periodic schedule of travel/visits within the designated area of coverage
