Working Hours: 8:00am – 5:00pm (Additional hours would be OT)
Working Days: Monday – Saturday or Monday – Friday & Sunday (6 day working week must be met)
Basic Salary: RM3,600
Phone Allowance: RM100
Outstation Allowance : RM150

Job Description

  • Valid Driver's License: Verify that the candidate possesses a valid driver's license appropriate for the type of vehicle they will be driving. In Malaysia, this would typically be a valid Malaysian driving license.

  • Clean Driving Record: Check the candidate's driving record to ensure they have a clean history without any major traffic violations or accidents. This can be done by obtaining a copy of their driving abstract or requesting a declaration of their driving history.

  • Experience and Skill: Look for candidates who have a significant amount of driving experience, especially if they will be operating specialized vehicles or driving in challenging conditions such as heavy traffic or long-distance routes.

  • Evaluate their skills, including maneuvering, parking, and defensive driving techniques.

  • Familiarity with Local Routes: Consider candidates who are familiar with the local roads, routes, and traffic patterns in the areas where they will be driving. This can help ensure efficient and timely transportation.

  • Professionalism and Communication: Assess the candidate's level of professionalism and communication skills. A professional driver should be courteous, respectful, and capable of effectively communicating with passengers and clients.

  • Punctuality and Reliability: Look for drivers who have a track record of being punctual and reliable. They should understand the importance of timeliness and be able to adhere to schedules and appointments.

  • Safety Consciousness: Prioritize candidates who prioritize safety and adhere to traffic laws and regulations. They should demonstrate a responsible attitude towards driving and prioritize the well-being of passengers.

  • Language Proficiency: Evaluate the candidate's language proficiency, particularly in English and/or Malay, as these are the primary languages spoken in Malaysia. Effective communication is essential for understanding instructions and interacting with passengers.

  • Background Checks: Conduct thorough background checks, including criminal records, to ensure the candidate has a clean background and is trustworthy.

  • Professional References: Request and verify professional references from previous employers or clients who can provide insight into the candidate's work ethic, reliability, and driving abilities.


Company Usage Policy

  • Vehicle Usage: Use company vehicles exclusively for business-related purposes and authorized activities. **kindly note that personal use of company vehicle is strictly prohibited. If failed to comply – disciplinary action will be taken.  

  • Reporting Incidents: In the event of accidents, damage, or any other incidents involving company vehicles, immediately report the details to your supervisor and follow the company's designated procedures for documentation and reporting.

  •  Security and Loss Prevention: Safeguard company assets, including vehicles, from theft, damage, or misuse. Lock and secure vehicles when unattended, and do not leave valuable items visible inside the vehicle.

  • Confidentiality: Treat all information, discussions, and activities related to the company and our clients as strictly confidential. Do not disclose or discuss any sensitive information with unauthorized individuals.
