Business Development Manager 

Location: Subang Jaya

Client is a dynamic and rapidly growing international trade company specializing in the import and export of Meat products. 

Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Business Development Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in identifying business opportunities, building strong relationships, and expanding our market presence in the import and export industry.

Responsibilities:

1. Market Research and Analysis:
Conduct comprehensive market research to identify potential business opportunities and trends.
Analyze competitor activities and industry developments to stay ahead in the market.

2. Client Acquisition and Relationship Management:
Identify and engage with potential clients, negotiating and closing deals to achieve sales targets.
Develop and maintain strong, long-lasting client relationships to foster repeat business.

3. Strategic Planning:
Collaborate with the management team to develop and implement effective business development strategies aligned with company goals.
Evaluate and prioritize opportunities based on their potential impact on the business.

4. Product and Service Promotion:
Work closely with the marketing team to develop and execute promotional strategies for products and services.
Attend industry events, conferences, and trade shows to showcase our offerings and build brand visibility.

5. Contract Negotiation:
Lead contract negotiations with clients, suppliers, and other partners to ensure favourable terms and conditions.
Collaborate with legal and finance teams to finalize contractual agreements.

6. Cross-functional Collaboration:
Coordinate with internal teams, including logistics, finance, and customer service, to ensure seamless execution of import and export operations.
Provide insights and feedback to improve overall company processes.

Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Proven experience as a Business Development Manager in the import and export industry.
  • Strong understanding of international trade regulations and market dynamics.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
