Associate Security

Salary: RM5,000

The role 
  • Assist the Security Manager to develop, implement and enforce security policies, procedures 
  • initiatives covering all company assets, shipment and personnel. 
  • Role and responsibilities include (but not limited) the following: 
  • To supervise, monitor day to day security activities and direct daily operations of Security Business. 
  • Conduct daily inspection on selected sites in order to ensure all security systems / services are well 
  • maintained and fully functionality e.g. access card / VMS system / CCTV and alarm system. 
  • Ensure the implementation of approval SOP’s within Lazada operations. 
  • To conduct Security awareness briefing to all internal and external Lazada staffs to ensure that 
  • everyone is compliance towards Security Preventive Measures. 
  • To analyst and evaluate the security operations audit on security service provider and respective 
  • hub/warehouse on quarterly basis. 
  • To manage security incidents and to ensure prevention, detection, containment and correction of 
  • security breaches. 
  • To conduct investigation on security cases reported and submit report to security manager. 
  • Key Performance Indicators (KPI) of security provider e.g. daily patrolling, daily checklist, 
  • developing security knowledge, business attendance) 
  • Be aware of the Fire and Emergency procedures and the departments responsibility during emergency 
Candidate qualifications & skills 
  • Minimum SPM / Diploma in Security Management or any other related discipline. 
  • Minimum 3 to 5 years’ experience in similar capacity from logistic and express, and candidate from security or armed force background would be preferred. 
  • Multi-tasker and able to work under pressure. 
  • Good communication and problem-solving skills. 
  • Proficient in oral and written Bahasa Malaysia and English. 
  • Good PC skills with computer knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word and Power Point. 
  • Good interpersonal skills, supervisory skills, report skills, report writing and investigation skills. 
  • Good knowledge in security system, security procedures, security training and security administration. 
  • Work location based at Subang Jaya, Selangor.
